Practising Prayer
The times are changing, but increasingly prayer will be the power supply and the fuel for effective ministry. Those who use it wisely and often will find their God-given goals reached and will be victorious in the spiritual battles they encounter. Where is your church strong in prayer? Where is it weak? Just as Jesus modelled prayer to his disciples, we must lead the way in implementing prayer in our church ministries.

Prayer Trends
The following are twelve prayer trends that may be helpful as ideas for increasing prayer in your own ministry. Praying the Scripture. As we read the Bible, God often puts His finger on specific areas of our lives where He wishes to change us, encourage us or teach us. Using these same Scriptures as a pattern for prayer provides a meaningful way for our lives to be reshaped according to His will.
Praying for Missions and Missionaries
The following suggestions are made to assist you in your own prayers for missions and to encourage your congregation to be faithful in praying for missions because we know that "bringing salvation to the ends of the earth" is God's idea and His work, that only the Holy
Spirit can change a person's heart, and that prayer changes things.

How to Pray with God’s Missionary Heart
Jesus commanded us to pray for more workers: “Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.”
