  1. TAS Youth Convention - an annual weekend for young people that is broader than just raising gospel workers, but sees itself as feeding things like Challenge Conference.  In 2022 the convention will be 14-16 October. The TYC leaders also run Tas Youth Leader Training.   This is aimed for those who lead youth groups, many of whom are in the 18-30 bracket.   While this might not be focused on raising vocational workers, this training does contribute to that pathway.   TAS Youth Convention has recently introduced a focused session in their annual convention to encourage year 11-12s to consider ministry, and if so, to funnel these youth towards the Challenge Conference, AFES, etc.
  2. MTS Training Days - these are held twice annually, usually March and September. These are for ministers/trainers, apprentices, and those who are considering an apprenticeship.
  3. Challenge Conference - mid-August annually. Targeted toward encouraging people into a ministry pathway, specifically ministry apprenticeships.
  4. Tasmanian Church Planting Conference - annually - late October.  As the name suggests, a broader focus than just young people, but includes a challenge to all toward church planting ministry. Our churches usually encourage ministers, elders, ministry leaders, and up-and-comers to attend.

All of the above are connected somehow with Vision 100, and the event details are ordinarily shown here

But so few churches and Christians are bearing fruit. In fact, most churches are either maintaining the status quo or are in decline.

Shift is all about movement – with the help of one another and the power of God to reach our broken places and move ever closer to living a life worthy of our callings as churches and leaders. Leadership development begins with acknowledging and trusting the process and the people God uses to grow us.
