The main speaker at Recharge 2022 was Simon Manchester, recently retired Senior Minister of St Thomas' Anglican Church North Sydney. When he took up the reigns at this church in 1989, his parish pulpit ministry and his convention ministry grew exponentially. Christian Today reports that "Simon Manchester's hallmark has been his teaching on the 'self-evident truth' of Christ's death on the cross for our sin and salvation.... Due to his clarity of thought and eloquence of speech, he has been invited to present his ideas at international and national evangelical, denominational, mission and Christian conferences during his 32 years of ministry."   Simon's talks at Recharge were based on 1 Timothy under the theme: The Heartbeat of God in our Ministries.
